Cover Love: Newly Revealed!

I have a goodreads shelf for TBR books awaiting covers and I love to check every now and then to see what cover reveals I've missed!

Charming Covers

First of all it makes me happy when sequels/series match <3.
Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas~ As always Sarah Maas' covers are on point! My love of the cover designs is well documented.
The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick~ I like this over not as much as I love My Life Next Door just because it's less eye catching.
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han~ I love how this reflects the simple beauty of To All The Boys I Loved Before, just imagine them side by side!
Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry~ I like the bold typography and the motorbike, subtle but effective. Not sure if the UK edition will have a different cover though...

Have you seen any new covers that have caught your eye?
Let me know!
Much Love!

Cover Love: 2015 covers!

I've been looking through my TBR and realised a lot of 2015 books have released their gorgeous covers!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
I love how vivid this cover is! Especially the red and the detail on the girl which I feel will be explained in the book. I've been waiting for this series to be published for ages so I'm looking forward to finally reading it!
The Heir by Kiera Cass.
The only thing better than the news of more Selection books is how gorgeous the cover for Heir is. I did a whole post on how much I love The Selection covers and The Heir fits in perfectly. The crown has remained and the dress has slightly altered signalling the change of protagonist. So excited to add this to my shelf!
The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski.
I don't think I've mentioned how much I love The Winner's Curse but it is definitely one of my favourites of 2014 and I love the connection between the titles. This cover follows the theme of Winner's Curse which is also beautiful. The dress is stunning and I love the inclusion of a sword because I feel Kestrel will need to fight! The typography is slightly altered but it all goes together so well

So excited by these covers!
What covers have you excited for 2015?

Much Love!

Sneak Peeks!

Sneak peeks of upcoming books always intrigue me however two recent sneak peeks have really got me waiting on those two releases!

Sixteen-year-old Clariel is not adjusting well to her new life in the city of Belisaere, the capital of the Old Kingdom. She misses roaming freely within the forests of Estwael, and she feels trapped within the stone city walls. And in Belisaere she is forced to follow the plans, plots and demands of everyone, from her parents to her maid, to the sinister Guildmaster Kilip. Clariel can see her freedom slipping away. It seems too that the city itself is descending into chaos, as the ancient rules binding Abhorsen, King and Clayr appear to be disintegrating.
With the discovery of a dangerous Free Magic creature loose in the city, Clariel is given the chance both to prove her worth and make her escape. But events spin rapidly out of control. Clariel finds herself more trapped than ever, until help comes from an unlikely source. But the help comes at a terrible cost. Clariel must question the motivations and secret hearts of everyone around her - and it is herself she must question most of all.

I've already gushed over how much I love the cover here so I won't go into that. I read the beginning of Clariel on Buzz Books from NetGalley. I've waited a long time for Clairel so I wasn't sure what to expect but it was compelling from the first page. It reminded me of Sabriel, my favourite of the original trilogy, and Clariel's personality shone through. I'm already looking forward to the family dynamics and the development of Clairel's life in Belisaere.

Can you hear Atlantia breathing?
For as long as she can remember, Rio has dreamt of the sand and sky Above—of life beyond her underwater city of Atlantia. But in a single moment, all her plans for the future are thwarted when her twin sister, Bay, makes an unexpected decision, stranding Rio Below. Alone, ripped away from the last person who knew Rio’s true self—and the powerful siren voice she has long hidden—she has nothing left to lose.
Guided by a dangerous and unlikely mentor, Rio formulates a plan that leads to increasingly treacherous questions about her mother’s death, her own destiny, and the complex system constructed to govern the divide between land and sea. Her life and her city depend on Rio to listen to the voices of the past and to speak long-hidden truths.

I read the beginning of this book thanks to NetGalley and I'm already hooked! I love the world building and how it's been explained so far. It's much more technical and thought out then I anticipated as underwater worlds tend to be build weaker. I love Rio and her inner turmoil and decisions were intriguing and I'm so excited to read more of her journey. I'm intrigued by Bay's decision and the reasoning as she was against Rio doing the same, by mysterious .......  and I'm a little bit in love with .

What are you most looking forward to this Autumn?
Much Love!

Book News!

I sometimes feel like I'm the last to find out about book deals or new books so I thought I'd do a round up post of recent news!

I feel like May contained a lot of books news to digest so I've rounded up the news I've been most excited by!

Nicole Williams
Lost and Found is now a series!
Lost and Found is a very recent love of mine, I loved the characters, the setting and basically the whole thing!
NEXT! (30th July 2013.) Near and Far- Jesse and Rowen's story continues! Lost and Found did leave me wanting more Jesse and Rowen. I'm looking forward to the new distance factor in their relationship and how it changes the dynamic between them.
COMING UP! Garth Black is getting his own book! I can't say I was a fan of him in Lost and Found but I do want to find out more about him!

Steph Campbell
Shayna and Carter get their own book!
I always enjoy Steph Campbell's books and I loved the themes and characters in the 'Quinn' series. (I don't know if the series has an 'official' name I refer to it as Quinn seeing as she's the constant!)
Friend is a Four Letter Word- I think Shayna and Carter definitely deserve their own book and I'm looking forward to 'seeing' them take centre stage!
with Jolene Perry
My Heart from Yours goes from Stand Alone to Quartet!

I found My Heart from Yours a sweet quick read with surprising depth so I'm so excited for more!
NEXT! July) My Fate for Yours- A prequel featuring Tobin's brother Eamon! I'm kinda apprehensive for this one as I know how it ends. However I was very intrigued by Eamon and the mystery surrounding him!
COMING UP! My Love for Yours and My Life for Yours complete the quartet but no other details...

Monica Murphy
Drew and Fable's series has been expanded!
One Week Girlfriend and Second Chance Boyfriend were great reads and a few of the side characters definitely need their own books!
NEXT! Three Broken Promises- Jen and Colin's story
I loved the hints and glimpses about the backstory and situations between them so I'm excited to find out more about them!
COMING UP! Owen's story and maybe more Drew and Fable!

Have you heard of any other book news I've missed?
What books are you looking forward to?
Much Love!
